What it is?
The VDP Pre-Show Gold Client Program and VDP Pre-Show Gold+ Client Program was started to provide you, our horse show customers, more value for your money and to answer a call so many of you made - you wish you could have them ALL. It also is a way we can ensure we provide amazing coverage to those who want to be photographed at shows where we might not be covering all rings all days. Now you won’t have to choose your photos, decide which is your favorite. Now you can have them ALL - plus there’s more! This Gold (and Gold+) Client program is available at all shows & events we cover as the official photographer unless otherwise indicated.
As a VDP Pre-Show Gold/Gold+ Client, you’ll have guaranteed coverage, more candids, all images edited & delivered to you within 1 week of the show, and a discount on any additional purchases of products from that show. Gold Clients receive low-resolution images ideal for web use and printable to 4”x6” in size via email and a 10% discount on additional purchases. Gold+ Clients receive high-resolution images best for a variety of print purposes and sizes sent through their own private online gallery that can be downloaded from for an entire year and a 20% discount on additional purchases.
Enrollment is per exhibitor and includes one horse per exhibitor. Additional horses with the same exhibitor at that show can be added at a reduced rate. You’ll sign up and pay the invoice sent to you prior to midnight before the first day of the horse show to complete enrollment. Basically we need to have our Gold & Gold+ Client list together so we can be organized and catch many amazing moments of you in & out of the show ring. By enrolling early, you help us ensure we are ready!
What is Included?
When you enroll as a VDP Pre-Show Gold/Gold+ Client, prepare for all the good stuff!
All photos of an exhibitor & horse combo, edited per our style you see here, and delivered via email within 1 week of the show.
Gold Clients receive low-resolution digital images which are perfect for online & social media sharing. For the technically-minded folks, our low-resolution format is 900px x 600px at 120dpi - most photographers provide their low res at 72 dpi, we increase it to ensure great quality. You also have a release to allow printing up to 4x6 prints.
Gold+ Clients receive high-resolution digital images which are for those who want the freedom to print big, print whatever you like, the highest quality. For the technically-minded folks, our high-resolution format is 5760px x 3840px at 300dpi - sizing wise that’s roughly 19in x 13in but you can print larger as you understand resolution and viewing distance of larger prints/wall art. Print release allows for freedom of personal printing to the client. These files will be large - you’ll have your photos delivered through a private gallery you can download from that is online for one-year during which time you’ll be reminded to download, save and backup your images.
Guaranteed coverage of your rides at the show in the event we are not covering every ring. You’re already signed up and take priority!
More candid moments captured! We know you want them, we’ll be looking for those moments in and out of the ring as they happen and we can catch them.

You’ll get a unique discount code in your confirmation email to use at checkout. Be sure to use it! It will expire when the gallery expires - each show gallery is online for 6 months and we send warning emails when the gallery (and your discount code) is close to expiring.
What does it cost?
VDP Pre-Show Gold Client Program
$210 per exhibitor/horse combo for a show
If you have multiple horses with the same exhibitor, each additional horse is just $99 and you’ll get all their photos, too. Must be the same exhibitor.
To put that in perspective, our individually-purchased regular priced low-resolution digital images are $40 each. Our All Photos of An Exhibitor Package in Low-Resolution is $325.
VDP Pre-Show Gold+ Client Program
$360 per exhibitor/horse combo for a show
If you have multiple horses with the same exhibitor, each additional horse is just $220 each and you’ll get all their photos, too. Must be the same exhibitor.
To put that in perspective, our individually-purchased regular priced high-resolution digital images are $80 each. Our All Photos of An Exhibitor Package in High-Resolution is $500.
Either option, both are quite a savings purchasing early - and you get MORE photos than a standard exhibitor would.
How Do I Enroll?
You must enroll by midnight before the first day of the horse show (the FIRST day, not necessarily the first day you’re showing). To be enrolled, you’ll need to fill out the form and pay the invoice we send back to you. Once complete, we’ll send a confirmation of your enrollment.
Head back to the VDP Pre-Show Gold/Gold+ Client Program home page (click here), scroll to the bottom, click the Enroll Now button. You’ll fill out that form for EACH EXHIBITOR individually. So, one exhibitor per form. You’ll fill out all the info requested. If there are additional horses for that exhibitor, list them in that last section. If we have questions we’ll call, text or email you. Within 24 hours we will send an invoice to you for the total enrollment cost. Once complete, you’ll get a confirmation email & we are good to go!
Please get your enrollment form & payment complete ASAP, please try not to wait until the deadline. The sooner we have you on our client list the more prepared our team can be to get more photos of you!
What if…
If you don’t know us by now, we are a photography team loaded with years of our own equestrian experience. We know horses. We know horse shows. We know. Despite best laid plans, sometimes our horses do silly things. Sometimes the weather throws a total monkey wrench in our plans & shows delay or cancel. We promise to work with you. Yes, to enroll you must sign up and pre-pay. Should some act of God (or act of an accident-prone horse or individual more like it) affect your show plans, your payment is transferable to another show or to another individual. Basically, we will transfer your payment so you’ll be good to go at a future show. We consider ourselves part of your team, so let’s work together! Be sure to stay in touch and inform us of any issues in your show day/weekend.
